So you scheduled a photoshoot, bought the clothes, booked the makeup artist and hair stylist-it's the night before, and your freaking out...JUST BREATHE :) Photoshoots can come with stress and be a bit nerve-wracking; especially if you've never done one. Even if you have everything planned down to a "T" there are still some little things you can do the day before.
Don't freak out, I got you!
Here are a few tips to ensure your modeling day runs smoothly:
- Small Details-Clean your nail, shower, do your face routine, shave, and touch up your roots. Even deep conditioning can make a difference in your photos.
- Plenty Of Sleep-Make sure to get at least 7-8 hours of shut-eye. Not enough sleep can cause swelling, redness, and puffy eyes.
- Get Hydrated- When you get enough fluids your skin looks amazing, and you feel your best the day of the shoot.
- No Pimple Popping- Picking at your face can irritate the area causing redness and swelling-and many times bleeding. Clean your face a moisturize before the shoot. Make-up is always an option for cover-ups.
- Pose In Front Of The Mirror- Get in front of that mirror and strike a pose! Learn angles, poses, and attitude. The more you practice, the more you feel comfortable.
The million dollar question...
What do I wear to my photoshoot?
Honestly, something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. You want to look your best...I get that 100% but if you aren't comfortable it will show up in your photos. Neutrals are always a go-to color scheme that looks great in almost any photoshoot style. Bright and crazy colors and patterns are great in the right setting. So be sure to communicate with your photographer about your vision for the photos.
